Jean-Marc Legentil

Jean-Marc Legentil is the President of Bell Nordic Consulting. Jean-Marc began his career with Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Laboratories, and Carrier Furniture where he has been supervisor, production manager, plant manager and VP Operations. After 14 years in the industry, Jean-Marc started a consulting firm dedicated to training and consulting in the areas of operation management, innovation, and continuous improvement for organizations in a variety of industries: service, manufacturing, healthcare, government, and construction. In the community, Jean-Marc Legentil is well known for teaching classes and facilitating seminars for over 30 years at HEC Montréal and ÉTS engineering school; his main subjects are Process Improvement, Lean Construction, Productivity Improvement, Operation Strategy, Kaizen, Product Innovation, Creativity, Collaborative/Transversal Management, and Toyota Kata. He Holds a Bachelor degree in management from HEC Montréal, an MBA from Ivey School of Business, and is certified Master Black Belt (Sensei) in methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma. His publications of methodologies in English and French address the implementation of process improvement, problem solving, Toyota Kata, and Design thinking/Product Innovation. His international conferences on Lean have taken him to Japan, Brazil, Tunisia, Turkey, Thailand, the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Marc-Olivier Legentil

Continuous improvement consultant at Bell Nordic Consulting, Marc-Olivier Legentil (M.Sc.) has accumulated over ten years of experience in several roles related to quality management, continuous improvement, logistics, and operations management. He previously worked for companies L'Oréal, Electrolux, Speedy Glass, and Accedian Networks. He is a Certified Six-Sigma Black Belt (ASQ) and a trainer on topics such as process mapping, Toyota Kata, and operation management, as well as being a speaker at the first Canadian conference of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and at the LCI-C conference in Vancouver. He is responsible for process improvement and coaching projects using the Toyota Kata method. Marc-Olivier was a finalist for the award for the best Master's thesis in the M.Sc. at HEC Montréal in 2017 for his thesis on the impact of Toyota Kata on an organization’s culture in order to sustain continuous improvement. Tilo Schwarz

Tilo is a European Management Trainer and Kata Coach. He supports managers in improving their coaching ability to develop the problem solving ability of their teams and reach challenging targets. He works with organizations that want to establish a culture of self-driven continuous improvement and innovation. Between 2006 and 2013, being plant manager at Festool, a power tool manufacturer in Germany, he introduced the Toyota Kata as the main problem solving and management pattern. Together with his management team he established continuous improvement as a daily habit throughout the plant. This led to winning the 2008 A. T. Kearny manufacturing competition "Plant of the Year“ and a second place in the WHU/INSEAD contest "Industrial Excellence Award" in 2011.
